Open water technique for Swimrun and Triathlon
With film analysis of crawling technique

Crawling and open water technique is suitabel for swimmers that already have the basic knowledge of how to crawl. You may feel that it’s still needs improvement or you want to adjust your open water swimming technique. We have limited participation at 12 people in order to study each participant and give feedback about your crawl technique.

You will practice specific open water technique and the tactical challenges you face during a Triathlon or Swimrun race. Every session has a new focus where you practice different technique steps. We explain swimming technique and associated exercises at the beginning of each session. On the first session, we also practice basic technique in Haga HC’s indoor pool (Radison Blu Royal Park Hotel). During the second part of each session, we swim long distance and exercise endurance. The course is a mix of technique and endurance training. We want to give you individual feedback so you can adjust and improve your technique. The course fits well if you have planned for swimming, triathlon or swimrun competition. At the beginning and end of the course, we will film you and you will get a simplified analysis of your swimming technique and related improvement areas. The course is held in Brunnsviken directly below Radison Blu Royal Park Hotel, where the Haga Health Club has its base.

Range:                        5 occassions of 60 min each (occures twice during summer)

Date and time #1:   5 occasions at 6 pm to 7 pm, may 28 to june 25
Date and time #2:   5 occasions at 6 pm to 7 pm, aug 13 to sep 10
Prior knowledge:     Be able to crawl throughout the whole practice
